Introduction
Boxtopia are a supplier of bespoke corrugated cardboard boxes, based in Grantham, Lincolnshire. They contacted DAP seo to help them increase the visits to the website and in consequence get more enquiries.
Method
Working closely with the client to assess their business needs, DAP seo recommended an initial package for three months which included search engine optimisation (SEO) and an online social media campaign.
After extensive keyword research was conducted, a number of the most effective efficient keywords were recommended. With agreement from the client, DAP seo then implemented these keywords, which included altering text and image content, page titles , url extensions and meta data to enhance the effectiveness of the website. Also link building activities were implemented to build an external network of referring websites.
A newsletter was devised, and a series of newsletters have been sent out.
Social media was also introduced – with twitter and facebook accounts being set up and run for them.
Regular meetings were set up with the client to discuss progress and ideas.
Results
By working with the client to change their current website and introducing the social media, newsletters and SEO the amount and relevance of traffic to the site has increased considerably. This has had a very positive effect on their sales.
Conclusions/Further Work
Following the initial work, the clients were very happy with the working relationship between the two companies, the seo work is continuing to be enhanced and the social media campaigns are gaining momentum.
The newsletter is now being enhanced, and in the new year a brand new E-commerce site are being created to assist with growing Boxtopia.
